John Wellday's Experience

When I heard about Willard Fuller and how God was healing people through his ministry, I felt that I just must see these wonderful things. I was a believer in God. I believed that "with God all things are possible." But I wanted to see this marvelous phenomena. I wanted to see it happen.

Then I learned that this man was going to conduct a healing meeting at the Unity Center of Greater Daytona, not far from where I was living in Orlando. I attended the meeting.

The things I saw happen were astonishing. I saw people healed of so very many different kinds of illnesses, malfunction and malformations. But the thing that had the greatest impact on me was the healing of dental needs. Cavities in the teeth were filled with porcelain, silver and even gold. I saw it with my own eyes. Now that will solidify your belief system. I saw new teeth begin to grow where teeth had been extracted. I saw crooked teeth miraculously straighten. I saw gum disorders, periodontal problems such as gingivitis instantly healed. I heard people tell how their loose dentures had been instantly tightened. It was the most astounding thing I had ever witnessed in my life.

From there I attended a seminar at Willard's teaching center in Palatka, Florida. Now let me tell you what happened at that seminar and how it has affected my life subsequently. Nothing has, before or since, been more meaningful to me. It was the turning point in my spiritual development.

I arrived at the teaching center, called "Eagles Landing," in the early evening prior to the beginning of the four-day seminar the next morning. As I entered the room where other attendees had gathered and were getting acquainted, I had the strangest feeling that everyone there, including me, had known every other one already. It seemed like a family reunion. It felt like we had reunited for a purpose.

The subject of the seminar was "The gifts of the Spirit," but I suddenly realized that "being there" was a gift to me. To attend this well established seminar, to discover who God is and His relationship to me was indeed my gift.

Then abruptly two of these people asked me to pray for them. My first thought was, "I'm not the healer. Willard Fuller is the healer." I felt so very uncomfortable. They were asking me to pray for them as if I were their healer. I didn't even know why I was there, except that I had a deep hunger for more of something, something from God.

One was a man who had broken his wrist many years ago and had consequently lost its flexibility. The other had a spinal deformity, the result of an accident, that hindered his walking upright. He walked very slowly and carefully. Any "out of the ordinary" movement would cause terrific pain.

Yes, I felt very uncomfortable when they lovingly asked me to pray for them. I excused myself from the group and went outside. I discovered that several hundred yards down the hill was a lake with a dock. I wanted to be alone and as far as possible from this group. I went to the end of the dock. It was very tranquil, not cold but chilly place. Yet I felt an amazing warmth.

I found myself saying the words of Jesus, "Father, let this cup pass from me." My feeling was, "I can't do this." Then I heard the Voice, "My son, how can you not do this?" Then deep inside I knew that I must do this. I did. Then I wept.

While eating brekfast I caught the eye of the man that I had prayed for with the wrist problem seated at the table across the room. He waved to me in such a way as to show me that the wrist was completely flexible. About that time the man with the spinal problem came literally bounding down the stairs doing calisthenics for everyone, rejoicing that he was healed.

Then I knew what Willard means when he says, "Anything God can do through me He can do through you." The power of God that Willard speaks so emphatically about was already in motion when I arrived, before Willard had taught anything. Perhaps God started the preparation when He allowed me to see the miracles in Daytona Beach.

I spent four days at "Eagles Landing" with Willard and about 28 other people. I learned more about the Bible in those four days than all the previous days of my life with many of my ancestors being ministers. I knew much of what the Bible says, but now I was learning what it means. I had heard the Word, but it had not taken root. I had never felt it. When Willard Spoke, the truth was impacted into my very soul. The teacher imparting that part of God that I was not familiar with.

There was a literal transformation in all of the 28 people in attendance, including a medical doctor from Seattle that had met Willard in Moscow, who said, "I came as a skeptic, I am leaving as a believer."

In the subsequent years many people have come to me for healing. God has always proven sufficient for every human need. I am so grateful to God and to Willard Fuller for this transforming impact on my life.

Let me suggest to you, the reader, that if you have a need for healing and/or counseling with hands-on prayer, you contact him. Willard's college, university and seminary academic training in psychiatry and psychology coupled with years of teaching and counseling has made him an extraordinarily proficient teacher, theologian, counselor and psychotherapist. Or if you have a hunger to learn and/or be more, attend one of the seminars. Anything that God has for one, He has for everyone.

Willard was literally launched into his healing ministry by being instantly healed of an "incurable" disease. That made him "know by experience" that spiritual healing is a reality.

He is in his 43rd year of healing ministry, having seen over 160,000 people healed, over 40,000 of whom were healed of dental problems.

Willard has been featured on television on "P.M. Magazine," "Good Morning America," People are Talking-Boston," "The Larry King Show," " Primetime CBS," "The Geraldo Show," and many other radio and television shows. CBS made a movie about his life and ministry and ran it primetime. He did a 3-hour talk show on "TBS" with Pat Boone.

One entire book was written about his ministry by a NASA Space Scientist and several books currently have a chapter in each of them about Willard.

Articles about his ministry have appeared in magazines such as "Omni," "Women's World," "Fate," "Cosmopolitan," "Women's Day," "with a five-page article in the "Rolling Stone" magazine.

His international ministry, the Lively Stones Fellowship, Inc., is now headquartered in Lloyd, Florida. His telephone number is (850) 342-1411. His mailing address is P.O. Box 396 Lloyd, Florida 32337, a twenty minute drive from Tallahassee.
